Who is “Chaney for Georgia”?

​

Holly Chaney, the candidate, is a devoted mother of three, creative professional, community advocate, and faithful follower of Jesus Christ whose life has been shaped by service, perseverance, and a deep commitment to helping others.

​

Born in Pensacola, Florida, Holly made Georgia her home in 1999 and has spent more than two decades building strong roots in the communities she loves. Like many women, her journey has been one of balancing family, faith, education, and career. After dedicating herself to raising her children and supporting her family’s educational goals, Holly returned to college as a non-traditional student, determined to pursue her own path of learning and service.

At Georgia Highlands College, Holly quickly emerged as a respected student leader. She served as Student Body President, President of the Georgia College Press Association, and Vice President of her honor society. These experiences reinforced her belief that effective leadership begins with listening, collaboration, and a genuine desire to serve others.

Professionally, Holly has built a diverse career spanning logistics, graphic and web design, marketing, interior design, fashion, historic preservation, restoration, and museum operations management. Her unique blend of practical business experience and creative problem-solving has enabled her to work across industries while remaining focused on strengthening communities and preserving cultural heritage.

Throughout her life, Holly has been guided by a passion for justice, equality, and the dignity of every individual. While her path to public service has been unconventional, her desire to advocate for others has remained constant. She believes every person deserves to be heard, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Faith remains at the center of Holly’s life. As a devoted Christian, she views leadership as a calling rather than a position and believes that service to others is one of life’s highest responsibilities. After years of prayer, preparation, and seeking God’s direction, she feels called to use her experience, compassion, and determination to serve her community in new and meaningful ways.

Holly believes the strongest communities are built when neighbors come together with mutual respect, shared purpose, and a commitment to the common good. Whether through her professional work, community involvement, or public service, she remains dedicated to helping create opportunities for future generations while preserving the values and traditions that make Georgia home.
